[Virginia "Ginny" Lyons (Chair)]: Is that three? You're live. Alright, we're live. This is age six sixty, and the house confreys are back. We are. So we had a chance to touch base. Candy, could you pull up the language again? Sure. While the house didn't have in its proposal treatment beds, We're willing to concede that some of these resources can be used for treatment bed expansion. The issue that I have is with the use of the intent language. So the top one I'm fine, we are fine with, is the use of the term medical. Because it really, at 3.1, it is not the level of intensity of medical that that would imply, and I wouldn't want people to think that they're getting something Going for a toxic level, acute Yes. We're fine with So what are you suggesting to do? Just to take out medical and just to fund related treatment as part of opioid use disorder recovery. Okay. We hope we could do that. If we can do that, then I think we're good. Oh, good. Last year, I don't. Okay. Should it just be treated treatment or do we need the related treatment? Do we need the word related? Just treat. I think I think treatment is probably just fine. Yeah. That's a difference. Okay. So yes. Less. If you decide to make a vote, would be kinda making edit at this point because, yeah, it's not gone through editing in quite a while. So I'm good with this. You guys good for this? We're all set. Yep. Okay. Good. Go for it. Don't we shake get hands or something? No. Do we shake hands first or second? Don't be fine. Wanna put that one wrestle. Wrestle. Yes. Yes. Yes. Thank you, madam chair. Operating in house champion. I wanna wrestle. Yeah. Thank you. Thank Thank Thank Thank you. You, Much appreciated. And so now having to you're master of, you know, conference committees this year. So Where do we when do we sign?
[Candy (Committee Staff)]: Ledge council is gonna give us a clean copy of the signed page. After editing. We could print out just the signature page if you wanted to do signatures. That'd be great. And once I have the clean version, I'll just give it to Senator Lyons. Okay. Okay. That sounds great. Good? Sounds good.
[Virginia "Ginny" Lyons (Chair)]: All right, thank you all. Thank I think we solved some problems in this bill, in particular sort of talking about how things happen, what's next. I love the hiatus for 2028. It makes so much sense. And that's on the Illinois settlement advisory committee, also probably like the hiatus. Yeah, that's good. Know. And having opportunities in people have invested in, so we'll be. Yeah. Are you on that Martine?
[Martine Larocque Gulick (Vice Chair)]: No, I'm not. Senator Harty. No, Senator Harty's still on it. So, and we very much appreciate the four items at the end going into the Substance Misuse Prevention Fund. That was something that, know, has it left our committee, that's where it was.
[Virginia "Ginny" Lyons (Chair)]: And so, you know, we agreed that there was more information that needed to be had. Are you lending the appropriations meeting? No, I'm just saying we left our committee. No, That was a good suggestion. There was Oh, mean, we just wanna always We've done more information. Yeah. And that's what we thought would happen. Right? Yeah. And the other thing to appropriations look at going forward is just defining how that's on this unit. Yeah, I thought that was the same. Oh, good. You know, if you wanna push it all down or push it upstream and then the other one goes for recovery and treatment. Well, recovery centers last year we funded out of the substance misuse prevention fund. This year they're coming out of the opioid fund. Think we do need to have sort of some meat in the minds about where the Yes. What gets funded where? What does she owe a lot of money or use it all? I mean, I'm kinda stingy sometimes. Although Erica speaks so much. Oh, I told you. H938. Yes. Passed on second reading. Voice vote. That's good. She was Constellation. Yes. Did you have a lot of questions on the floor or anything? Oh, yeah. You did? Questions that she had already gone over. She had already covered it in her four or so. No. How time should we go? Yeah. Yeah, I feel like we landed in a good place on that. So, we've, since there were no floor amendments, we've already had a review of, you know, what you did in your committee. So, I think that the fast acting, giving that back. Awesome. Awesome. That's kind of a relief, to be honest. Yeah. It's been a long time. Mhmm. Last year.
