[Sen. Ann Cummings (Chair)]: Okay. We are live. This is the hit or miss finance committee. I was on it's mostly our last day. But we had three, I think, appointments sent to us Tuesday, last Friday. Randy, you have one of

[Sen. Randy Brock (Member)]: the I have one. I didn't get it recently. I think I've had it for a while. So Deborah Rent Rentals who lives in Swankey. Okay. And she is the chair of the board as a board as I don't have my notes with me right now. You don't you don't have any sheeting for her. Just looking right now for that. Deborah Reynolds.

[Sen. Ann Cummings (Chair)]: I do not see that, ma'am. We've just came back in Charlotte. And start to do the appointments.

[Sen. Randy Brock (Member)]: At three. Three. I've tried to close them out. Okay.

[Sen. Ann Cummings (Chair)]: So we haven't got stuff.

[Sen. Randy Brock (Member)]: I'll I'll go back with the the board. It's it's board. Chairman and two others that he's chair of. All right. She's not her first rogue ever. She's been here. I think I nominated her for a game of confirmation At least three years ago, it may have been six years ago. Probably a week or She's been a long time board member. She runs a company called Fire Tech, which is a company that sells and services fire suppression equipment that sort of thing. She's been on the school board, very well known person, very positive. She and her husband also own the Ace Hardware store in the South, and so she's got a small business experience in addition. She's got a master's degree in business MBA. So very competent woman, very well known in the community, both in St. Albans and in the Swan Americans, highly recommended. I finally spoke with her. I had been trying to call her on and on, and I get transferred to her extension, and her mail is full. So I finally tracked her down today, indirectly, and then she called me just to confirm that she does in fact want

[Sen. Ann Cummings (Chair)]: to be reappointed. Well, you have I know you have the appointment because you had it on the floor.

[Sen. Randy Brock (Member)]: I don't have the actual appointment sheet itself. The question was that I wanted to ask you when you were speaking with as to whether or not know where the appointment sheets are

[Sen. Ann Cummings (Chair)]: that Charlotte has. Well, they're in the folder. These are all the ones I have. I did see the only one that came down that I gave to you, yeah, A while ago.

[Sen. Randy Brock (Member)]: Sure they I would I would think they would have a copy of it upstairs.

[Sen. Ann Cummings (Chair)]: No. Sarah they definitely have a copy of it upstairs. Yeah. Yeah. And, you did Sarah. Right?

[Sen. Randy Brock (Member)]: I did. It's not yeah. And what I'm doing here is, again, I said as we just point your own

[Sen. Ann Cummings (Chair)]: I don't know.

[Sen. Randy Brock (Member)]: I was gonna say, our numbers are made. Okay.

[Sen. Ann Cummings (Chair)]: William, I think these we've done. Yeah. This says Yeah. We did. We did. Yes. Senator Brock, Eddie Winters? Yep. That's it.

[Sen. Randy Brock (Member)]: That's her.

[Sen. Ann Cummings (Chair)]: She is a member of the Vermont Municipal Bond Bank. Okay. So senator Brock has moved that we confirm the reappointment of Debbie Winters of Swanton, Vermont to be a member of the Vermont Municipal Bond Bank. Is there any further discussion? Yeah. Cannot. All those in favor, say aye. Aye. So say no. Seven zero zero. I take that one off. Okay. So center your back, that's Mark Foley. Yes.

[Sen. Randy Brock (Member)]: Let me check my back. Oh, no. My back's a little

[Sen. Ann Cummings (Chair)]: bit more. Yeah. Mark Foley, sure.

[Sen. Scott Beck (Member)]: They're fully serifirman. There's one other who's been meaningless. This is serifirman.

[Sen. Ann Cummings (Chair)]: Those are the only ones that aren't under the county's party. Oh, this says Sarah was voted one

[Sen. Scott Beck (Member)]: We did. And he vote I I called her last week. We voted. This the one I have now is a another appointment starting 07/01/2026.

[Sen. Ann Cummings (Chair)]: Okay. So we need to do that, Martine. If we don't do the thing, do continue. Whole point of Secretaries of Education, the board just committee did not appoint. But we're gonna do Sarah Herman because right? Because you have

[Sen. Scott Beck (Member)]: a good day for it. We can.

[Sen. Ann Cummings (Chair)]: Yeah. For for our we we've done it once.

[Sen. Scott Beck (Member)]: Right. For the term ending in July. The sheet I the second sheet I have is for the term beginning on July 1.

[Sen. Ann Cummings (Chair)]: Okay. You wanna move the new pointer?

[Sen. Scott Beck (Member)]: Yes. I would move that. Yeah. I've spoken for several times. She's a high quality person.

[Sen. Ann Cummings (Chair)]: Okay. And that is to what board? Vita. Vita. Okay. So, Senator Beck has moved that we confirm the appointment of Sarah Furman to the Vita board for any further discussion. If not, all those in favor, say aye. Aye. Don't say no. 7300. You can take that one. Okay. I'll say you got fifteen home minutes. I see it. Until what? Till we're on the floor. That

[Sen. Scott Beck (Member)]: should wrap for senate finance. Yeah.

[Sen. Ann Cummings (Chair)]: It's around. I would never get a team back. We should be going back. You wanna go offline?
