[William Canfield (Vice Chair)]: Sorry. Here

[Emilie Kornheiser (Chair)]: we are in ways and means still, and it's still Tuesday, May 12. And we are picking up our last bill of the day, which is a return to s three twenty three. And Bradley has brought us an amendment that we discussed last time we were here. You want to join us in the chair? Thank you. Appreciate it.

[Bradley Shulman (Office of Legislative Counsel)]: Good afternoon. Bradley Shulman, Office of Legislative Counsel, and

[William Canfield (Vice Chair)]: I

[Bradley Shulman (Office of Legislative Counsel)]: will show you version 3.1 of the amendment.

[Emilie Kornheiser (Chair)]: Thank you.

[Bradley Shulman (Office of Legislative Counsel)]: And so on page two,

[Emilie Kornheiser (Chair)]: the only

[Bradley Shulman (Office of Legislative Counsel)]: thing that has changed since you saw it this morning or earlier this afternoon was I'm adding a third instance of amendment here. So, as a new section, a repeal section, this repeal section would repeal the rulemaking authority in seven b c DSA eight five five eight twelve. It's the waiving or reducing licensing fees for Kraft processors. It's repealed on 01/01/2028. So if the cannabis control board chooses not to do rulemaking, then they lose authority. If they do choose to do rulemaking, they have to get legislative authorization. And so either way, this provision won't necessarily affect their powers here.

[Emilie Kornheiser (Chair)]: Great, thank you. Any questions for Bradley? No. Thank you. I think we can just do it. Does that work for folks if we vote on this bill while we're working with a couple of people? Yeah. Okay, great. Bill, can you make a motion to sign the amendment favorable?
