[Rep. Theresa Wood (Chair)]: We're live. Okay. Back, folks, to House Human Services. We are going to do a review of the final version of s two thirty nine and then take a vote on that bill. So it's on your web page, on the committee's web page. And, hopefully, you've all had a chance in the break to take a final It look at appears to represent the work of our committee, and I appreciate the changes that we've made. I think we've actually done quite a bit to improve the bill, particularly having access to the most recent findings that were able to at the beginning of the bill that shows some of the work that this working group will really be tasked with. So are there any final questions about the bill? Okay, so I would entertain a motion to approve draft 3.1 of S two thirty nine. So moved by Representative McGill. Are there any final questions or comments? Okay. It looks like the poll of the roll.

[Rep. Daniel Noyes (Clerk)]: Representative Bishop? Yes. Representative Cole? Yes. Representative Donahue? Representative Eastes? Yes. Representative Garofano? Yes. Representative Maguire?

[Rep. Eric Maguire]: Yes. Representative McGill? Yes. Representative Nielsen? Representative Noyes?

[Rep. Daniel Noyes (Clerk)]: Yes. Representative Steady? Yes. Representative Wood? Yes.

[Rep. Theresa Wood (Chair)]: Nine nine zero two.

[Rep. Theresa Wood (Chair)]: Okay. And representative Cole will be reporting this bill on the floor. And so it will be on notice tomorrow and we'll have second reading, second reading, excuse me, on Friday. On Friday. Okay. So, and then third reading on Tuesday. Okay. And I can't be here on Friday, so I may actually ask for it to be I think I will. I'm rethinking I have a funeral that I need to go to on Friday. So bad form for the chair not to be here. So I'm gonna I

[Rep. Daniel Noyes (Clerk)]: wonder if we can not send it into the clerk's office till tomorrow. Are you allowed to do that? That would give it that one prompt delay, because then it would be unnoticed on Friday.

[Rep. Theresa Wood (Chair)]: I would prefer not to. Yeah. Well, can Why don't you check on that before we make a decision about that? And if not, then, Esme, on Friday, you would just get up and ask for a delay of one legislative day. Okay. Sounds good. That also gives you over the weekend to prepare your evening. I think that would be good. Think good. Straddles a weekend. Yeah, don't like- Generally like second and third readings have straddled, but I also am trying to clear our agenda because we've got the childhood bill, we've got forensic facilities, and Commerce just voted out the tobacco bill. So we are getting that next. So we have a bunch of things. So we don't need to have this one lingering. So, okay, that's great. Thank you all for your work on that. And like I said, I think we really added to the bill. And I'm, again, proud that this committee takes it seriously when we hear from people with lived experience and put them at the forefront. Sometimes whether they want to be or not. It's so important. I think it I hope that you feel at least that it provides an increased value to the deliberations that we have when we hear how people have experienced the systems that we're trying to improve or to establish in some cases. So I really appreciate people's willingness to put out their life experience. It's very brave. It's very brave for people to do. And so I really do appreciate that. Okay, so we're going to have another break just because we had a different schedule for this morning, but our 10:30 witness was not able to come. They needed to reschedule. So so this was not a scheduled break, but I wanted to make sure that we got that vote in. And we will be getting we will be having a bill review at 11:15 on the House Commerce bill, which they just voted out of committee. So I have to check on seeing how we actually get possession of that. I'm not sure. I gotta go check with the clerk's office. So
