[Representative Matthew Birong (Chair)]: Alright. Good morning, everyone. Welcome to house government operations and military affairs. It is shortly after 9AM. First order of business of the day on Wednesday, May 20 is h nine five seven, an ad relating to approval of amendments to the charter of the town of Williston. We heard from folks, the community, sponsors of the bill, and it seemed like it was an amenable proposal to the committee. So we do have it scheduled for discussion and possible votes. I'll open it up to table. Any questions that anyone may have, comments, and or concerns?
[Representative Kate Nugent]: No. Refresh me as to what it was actually for. I don't see. I have my notes, but I didn't write down. I just Yeah. Let me

Then I guess we have two designated charter shepherds here. Who would like this one? Yep, I'll do it. Thank you. Thank you, representative.
[Representative Kate Nugent]: Well, let's see. What what day is gonna be? Today's Wednesday. Yeah.
[Representative Matthew Birong (Chair)]: This says Lister, so it probably has to go to Ways and Means.

[Representative Matthew Birong (Chair)]: you want me to. Keep

[Representative Matthew Birong (Chair)]: It's pretty simple. Got it. Yep. All right. Any other thoughts, comments, hairs, constrictions? Not for me. I thought it was well done. Sweet. Took the view of it, and I reread it this morning again. Alright. Then I'll entertain a motion.
[Representative Kate Nugent]: I'll move it. So I I make a motion that we accept the charter change of Williston, which is Bill H957. As introduced. Alright. Second it's.
[Nick (Committee Assistant)]: It's never a draft number. Sorry, never mind.
