[Rep. Amy Sheldon (Chair)]: Good morning. Welcome to the House and Order Committee. This morning, we are looking at having a discussion about each an amendment from the Ways and Means Committee on h nine two eight. It will be a replacement amendment to the one that they originally presented to us, which is, kind of, I'll say, splitting the difference between their amendment and the way that we had the bill as it went to them to have the ability for the commissioner to create a new tag with specificity that the amount of that tag being tied to tags for the same animal, and that within a year, the commissioner needs to come back to the legislature to get that new fee, which is the word that the Ways and Means Committee uses, approved by the legislature. And if anyone has anything to add about that summary that I just gave or comments concerns? Folks generally feeling good about this wording? Yep. Yes. So we have two members who've told me that they are fine with this. Offline, we have two members I haven't heard from yet this morning, and 123456, seven of us here. To straw poll, all those in favor of this amendment, raise your hand. Two two are also in favor. That's nine. And then for now, two absent, we can check-in with them because it's a stronghold.
