[Rep. Amy Sheldon (Chair)]: Good morning, and welcome to the House Environment Committee. This morning, we are going to have a security briefing, and we welcome the sergeant at arms to start us off.

[Agatha Kessler (Sergeant at Arms)]: Thank you. Agatha Kessler, sergeant at arms.

[Rep. Amy Sheldon (Chair)]: John Paul Way, chief of police.

[Agatha Kessler (Sergeant at Arms)]: And we are here to give you, a security training, a briefing, and to hear from you and talk to you about security in the state house. Because of what can sometimes be sensitive about this conversation, we do recommend that the committee enter executive session to sort of foster a comfortable and secure environment for the conversation.
