[Kathleen James (Chair)]: We're live. Hi, everybody. Welcome back. Post Energy and Digital Infrastructure, Tuesday, May 19. I'm Kathleen James from Manchester. Oh, I'm not sure I'm. Richard Bailey on. Chris Morrow in Windsor, Bennington. Christopher Howland, drop them for. Dara Torre, Washington. Dara have Thutland, two in 13 Burlington. Laura Sibilia. Alright, folks. We are changing course, and we are going to propose that the Senate amend s two zero two. Just as a point of fact, here's so here's what'll happen on the floor. Here's what's gonna happen right now. You dig straw poll on this. And then when s two zero two comes up on the floor this afternoon, Rep Morrow, our floor reporter, is going to explain the Senate proposal of amendment. So the amended language that the Senate sent to us. So he'll explain the new landlord tenant language. He'll explain the fact that they added the motors. So he'll explain it as it came over to us. Then the speaker will call on me. I will explain that our committee, you know, is generally okay with the landlord law, but we had some concerns about the motors. I'll explain, like, two seconds why it's gonna be very brief. And then we'll show that my amendment simply strikes out that language. And I will explain that we took a straw poll and save the results in a straw poll. Then the house will vote to on my amendment, presuming that passes, then we'll vote on the bill. And then it goes over back to the senate with a further proposal of amendment. So just folks know, this is our last Volley. Both the speaker and the clerk have confirmed that the bill can't be amended anymore. So the Senate will either concur or go to conference. We hope and we have reason to believe that they're maybe just gonna concur and hopefully this bill will be done. Okay. So, everybody has my amendment in front of them. The clerk is gonna fix where I'm from, representative James of Manchester. And what I asked Ellen to do was simply revert to our original language and delete the sentences that the senate had added about mogars. So that's what you see here. Questions? Ellen was unable to join us. Ellen was unable to join us. Okay. So it's a fold. Right? This is a straw fold. Yep. So, I guess I'll just yeah. So all in favor of proposing this amendment to the senate? Great. All opposed? Okay. Thanks so
