[Rep. Alice M. Emmons (Chair, House Corrections & Institutions)]: Okay, today is May twenty second, twenty twenty sixth, and this is the final meeting of the Committees of Conference, Senate institutions and House institutions and Corrections. And we have, what we believe is the final document that we worked on and we appreciate staff's work on it. And we're going to double check that the language is as we expected and then we will sign. An activity of looking at that is. Question.
[John Gray (Legislative staff)]: On section six, water initiative.
[Rep. James Gregoire (Vice Chair, House Corrections & Institutions)]: Why is Sorry?
[John Gray (Legislative staff)]: Section six. Water initiative.
[Rep. James Gregoire (Vice Chair, House Corrections & Institutions)]: So, John, the reason that section six is here is that you formally this is about my head, but FY '27 had the 10,000,000 appropriation last year. You fleshed it out in a bunch of projects that total up to 10,000,000.
[John Gray (Legislative staff)]: Right. We had that in our underlying bill.
[Rep. James Gregoire (Vice Chair, House Corrections & Institutions)]: You had to do that this year because you're amending Act 33 in the form of a strike all. We have all of the sections included that you're touching. So including anything from the gut, right, that is accepted by both parties. So anything that touches Yes. Okay. I got it. Yep.
[John Gray (Legislative staff)]: I got it. Because I always had hoped it. Got
[Rep. James Gregoire (Vice Chair, House Corrections & Institutions)]: that it's been that way throughout the whole process, but you have to
[John Gray (Legislative staff)]: do this year. I got it. Thank you.
[Rep. James Gregoire (Vice Chair, House Corrections & Institutions)]: Good.
[Rep. Alice M. Emmons (Chair, House Corrections & Institutions)]: Did you want more time? No. I'm alright. Okay. It's gonna
[Rep. James Gregoire (Vice Chair, House Corrections & Institutions)]: be just fine.
[Rep. Alice M. Emmons (Chair, House Corrections & Institutions)]: So we should officially sign that. Yeah. So No. Let's sign it.
[Rep. James Gregoire (Vice Chair, House Corrections & Institutions)]: Yeah. Sign the plug. Sure. We should also put on the record that John Gray and Scott marked a fantastic job of getting exactly what we wanted.
[Rep. Alice M. Emmons (Chair, House Corrections & Institutions)]: And that was a beat. How many meetings? About 20. Oh, you're counting. And how many drabs in the spreadsheet?
[Rep. James Gregoire (Vice Chair, House Corrections & Institutions)]: Across both bodies? 16 or 17?
[Rep. Alice M. Emmons (Chair, House Corrections & Institutions)]: It was worth it. Gonna do good stuff. Thank
[Rep. James Gregoire (Vice Chair, House Corrections & Institutions)]: you. Thanks. I wanna make sure we get the right signatures.
[Rep. Alice M. Emmons (Chair, House Corrections & Institutions)]: So everybody has a copy now? Obviously, we have it online, posted. Bill is actually the word park. It's not the spreadsheet that we appreciate the spreadsheet very much, but it's technically not the bill.
