[Robin Scheu (Chair)]: Good afternoon. This is the House Appropriations Committee. It is 04:20 on Tuesday, 04/14/2026. Appreciate my sign up here. We are finally going to vote on the education bill, H-nine 55. We have heard from House Ed, House Ways and Means, every attorney, every fiscal officer. And I don't know who else I'm leaving out, but a whole lot of people. So I think we've gotten all our questions asked, and we are going to take one vote. I had said that wrong when we were logged before, but the bill came to us, in our position, it came to us as amended by Ways of Meath. So I would entertain a motion to move favorably H-nine 55 as introduced by House Education and further amended by House Ways and Means. So moved. Thank you. Is there a second? Second. Thank you. Is there any discussion that anybody wants to have more before we vote? Seeing none. Let's take a vote.

This was a lot of work and a long bill and a lot of questions, and I really appreciate the fact that you all read it and you got engaged with it, and here we are. We'll be on the floor Thursday and Friday. So we have a break tomorrow. We'll have a bill on Thursday that we'll be dealing with, but tomorrow we will not be in committee because we have our field trip and then we'll be on the floor. Oh, I thought you were hearing that. Oh, are. Never mind. We are hearing things tomorrow after the floor. I keep forgetting. I have this big blank about we're doing clean water projects. Water fund, to apple the floor. Apple the floor.
